    • Create two and three-dimensional designs using a wide range of materials, processes and techniques
    • Use the design process to develop and solve visual problems using various strategies for idea generation
    • Apply the formal elements and principales of design
    • Utilize a variety of presentation skills across a wide range of media appropriate to portfolios, public and private venues
    • Develop skills in portfolio presentation in a variety of media through studio-based projects
  • The Student to Teacher ratio is 11:1 which helps increase in interaction between professors and students.

Academic Eligibility:

  • English – any Grade 12 (C) or (U), or equivalent
  • Recommended Visual Arts – Grade 11 (M) or (O) or Grade 12 (M) or (O).
  • An overall average of 65% in the six required Grade 12 (U) or (M) courses.
  • These courses and skills may help students succeed academically in this program, but they are not required for admission.

Work Experience Eligibility:

  • Applicants with 3-year degrees may be considered for admission with one year of work experience
  • Students do not require any kind of work expperience for this program.

  • Students are responsible for their own transportation in order to complete program requirements which may not be readily accessible by public transportation.
  • Program requirements could include co-ops, placements, volunteer requirements, practical labs, field projects, assignments, clinicals, or any other off-campus visits required as part of the program’s curriculum.

  • It is recommended that each student have access to a personal computer or laptop.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
