Diploma Event and Venue Management
- Courses at Trebas focus on event planning, marketing, budgeting, contract negotiations, advertising and venue operations management, to give students all the tools they need to embark on rewarding careers in this field.
- The full-time, 48-week program takes students from novice to expert event and venue manager in just four terms.
- The term 1 focuses on business and design. Students will develop the business and managerial skills needed to thrive. They’ll also be introduced to the creative side of event management and promotions.
- Term 2 focuses on event management and will take students through all the steps of planning and running events, reinforced with a firm grounding in theory, interactive group work, and field trips.
- In term 3, students will consider communications and marketing. This term allows them to learn how to make sure their events are a well-attended success. From public speaking to advertising, this module gives them the polish to put their best face forward on behalf of the event.
- The program finishes with an internship and a final project. The internship will allow students to apply their skills to work as an event and venue management intern in a relevant work placement. This will help them to build their experience and work hands-on with real projects.
