This program is ideal for students who are impatient to get into the laboratory and begin research in chemistry or biochemistry. Undergraduates in the CCS major can extend their study of chemistry and biochemistry to a level of inquiry usually associated with graduate school, as they build a foundation of fundamentals and participate in research projects.

Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants must have passed 12th grade from a recognised institution
- GPA of 3.4
- All students will be admitted to the Pre-Chemistry major. Students will only be allowed to declare one of the full majors, Biochemistry, B.S., Chemistry B.S., and Chemsitry, B.A., once they have completed the pre-major requirements. The prerequisites can be found below. The Pre-Chemistry courses typically take 2 years to complete.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
