A general description of teacher work activities includes: planning courses, instructing students, interacting with parents and administration, and keeping up with developments in the field.
- Within the College of Education there is a one-degree program that prepares students to teach science:
- The High School Science Education curricula prepare graduates to teach science at the high school level, grades 9-12.
- Students in High School Science Education specialize in one of four areas: biology, chemistry, earth science, or physics.
