The Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Regina is accredited by the Canadian Association for Social Work Education (CASWE). The fundamental to the program is an emphasis on integrative analysis as a means of understanding the manner in which social research, direct social work practice, social policy development, and social administration are interrelated. Classes are offered face-to-face in both Regina and Saskatoon, and some are also taught through video conferencing.

Academic Eligibility:
- Students should hold a bachelor of social work (BSW) program degree from a recognized university.
- Students should have a qualifying graduating average of 70%.
- At least two years of demonstrated professional experience in the human service field is requied.
- Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL and GRE to get admission in this program.
Indian Student Eligibility
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students have to complete a four-year undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
- Students with a marginally lower four-year average may be accepted if their performance in the last two complete years is significantly higher (75% or more).
- Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
