The Communications: Art Media Theatre Program at Vanier is distinctive in that it offers a balance between studio and theory in four interrelated disciplines: studio arts; film and media studies; photography; and theatre. As a result, students get a broadly based knowledge set which helps in acceptance to university programs requiring a portfolio of creative and academic work. As well, in the Portfolio courses, students build a portfolio they can use for admission to certain university programs.
