Bachelor of Education [B.Ed] Elementary
Mount Royal's Bachelor of Education Elementary (B.Ed) is unique in Alberta for providing students with direct entry into the four-year degree program. This means students don't need a degree or prior post-secondary coursework to be considered for the program. And, starting in their first year of study, students will gain extensive hands-on experience in elementary school classrooms experience that continues during each year of the program.The B.Ed. Elementary is taught by a committed group of full-time and part-time faculty. All full-time faculty members hold PhDs, and have extensive K12 teaching experience.

Admission is competitive. Applicants must meet both the competitive admission average for the specific program and present specific required courses with the minimum required grades. In addition to meeting general admission requirements, admission to the Bachelor of Arts requires the following specific high school courses (or equivalents).Applicants in all admission categories must present:
- English Language Arts 30-1 – minimum grade 60%
- Mathematics 30-1 or 30-2 – minimum grade 60%
