Diploma Event Planning

- They learn how to design, plan and execute a wide array of corporate, community, and social events while developing a strong business acumen through experiential learning in the W. Galen Weston Centre for Food (WC) event space.

This two-year program focuses on the business of events as students will develop and apply essential skills in the areas of leadership, financial management, effective decision-making, critical thinking, and strategic planning.

Academic Eligibility:
- Students required an Ontario Secondary Diploma (OSSD) or an OSSD Equivalency.
- If students do not have an OSSD but are 19 years of age or older, they may be eligible to apply as a mature applicant.
- English Grade 12 C or U, or equivalent.
- Mathematics Grade 11 M or U or 12 C, or U, or equivalent.
- Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL and PTE to get admission in this program.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Secured a minimum of 70% marks in one of these certificates: All India Senior School Certificate, Higher Secondary School Certificate, Intermediate Certificate, Indian School Certificate.
- Completed grade 11 and grade 12 with 70% marks.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
