The role of physician assistants in the health system continues to grow in both value and need. Since 2011, the University of Bridgeport Physician Assistant Institute has offered the Physician Assistant Master's (MS) degree program in order to address this demand by providing a preventative approach to medicine.

Academic Eligibility:
- Students should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related STEM field from an accredited university or recognized international institution
- Students are recommended a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.90 or higher.
Indian Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Completed 4 years of a bachelor's degree in the first division in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
