Bachelor of Arts [B.A] Theatre
As a Theatre student, you?ll analyze and appreciate the arts and creative activity by understanding the theories and techniques of acting and production, and by producing and acting in a wide variety of theatre productions.
- Experience Theatre by participating in four main stage and two studio productions each year.
- Learn and perform in a complex that includes the landmark Buschman Theatre, a 175-seat proscenium theatre; the innovative Hays Theatre, a 199-seat thrust theatre; and the intimate 75-seat Studio Theatre.
- Broaden your knowledge by having the unique opportunity to work as an actor, director, designer, and/or technician during your years of study.
- Explore the connections TCU has with the professional theatre market in Fort Worth-Dallas by working as an intern, or by participating in joint productions between TCU and professional theatres like Casa Ma?ana, Circle Theatre, Jubilee Theatre, or Stage West. In the summer, many Theatre TCU students work for pay as actors and technicians at our critically
acclaimed, professional Trinity Shakespeare Festival on campus.
