Bachelor of Arts [B.A] Arts Studies

  • Arts Studies is an Interdisciplinary Studies major that allows students to develop a foundation in one of the arts and, on that foundation, learn the social or technological applications of the arts in a modern world. Examples include computers and the arts, scientific illustration, arts management and arts education.
  • Students take 21 credit hours of Foundation Courses, the purpose of which is to lay the foundation for building links among the arts and between the arts and other human concerns. These courses must be in the same art area, one of the following: Film Studies, Music, Theatre or Visual Arts. In addition to taking these 21 credit hours, students take 6 credit hours of production/studio courses, 6 credit hours of linking courses, an advised elective, and a Capstone course.

Academic Eligibility:

  • Students must hold a high school or Senior secondary school degree.
  • Students are required to submit one of the following scores for a proof of English proficiency: TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE.
