Bachelor of Arts [B.A] Advertising

  • The Bachelor of Arts in Advertising degree program is offered through Temple University’s Klein College of Media and Communication and puts students at the leading edge of the advertising industry. Students will learn the fundamentals of advertising, persuasion as well as the emerging digital media used by successful brands worldwide.
  • Positioned in the nation’s fourth-largest media market, this program gives you access to a diverse community of companies, organizations, and professionals. They will be introduced to the world of advertising through interactive, real-world experiences that prepare them for a variety of careers in the industry.
  • Collaborative group work is a cornerstone of the industry, and it is a key part of the Advertising program at Temple. Students apply their skills and gain hands-on experience through our student-run branding agency, internships, and national student competitions
  • Careers Options in Advertising With concentrations in account management, brand strategy and research, media planning, art direction and copywriting, the Department of Advertising and Public Relations in Klein College will prepare them for a career in the following industries—and many others.

Academic Eligibility: 

  • Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission.
  • Students are required to maintain at least a 2.0 overall GPA.

Language Requirments:

  • Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores. 
  • Students are required to submit an SAT or ACT score to be considered for admission. 

International students who currently or will hold a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, do not need to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score report.
