Bachelor of Science [B.S] Marketing
Marketing is the study of consumer needs in order to create, communicate, and deliver value to a company.
Marketers oversee the process of segmentation, targeting, and positioning while integrating decisions about product, promotion, pricing, and placement or distribution. Marketers create value for a company’s chosen customers, which enables the company to attract and retain customers.
The marketing program prepares students the following roles and areas: product manager, project manager, buyer/planner, brand manager, digital marketing analyst, social media marketer, customer relations, account manager, business-to-business sales, and retail marketing.
Previous marketing students have worked for Microsoft, Sears Holdings, Nielsen Holdings, Intuit, Qualtrics, Adobe Systems, PepsiCo, Frito-Lay, Dow Chemical, Melaleuca, Ecolab, CIGNA Healthcare, Shell Oil, Macy’s, Google, Marriott International, and Walmart, among others.
