Master of Science [M.S] Geography
The Department of Geography is a leader in the field of geography and offers exceptional opportunities for graduate education. It maintains strength across the full spectrum of subfields within the discipline and is organized into four major thematic areas: physical geography and earth system science, people and environment, human geography, and cartography/GIS. The department offers two masters of science in geography (thesis option):
- master of science in geography
- master of science in cartography and geographic information systems

Academic Eligibility:
- Candidates must have an equivalent bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- GPA of 3.0/4.0 [B+ Grade].
English Language proficiency:
- Applicants from India, China, Vietnam, Philippines, and Pakistan should note that IELTS is the only proficiency score accepted by the Study Direct Stream (SDS) program.
- Meeting the minimum English requirements does not guarantee admission. Students with higher English proficiency scores will receive priority in the admission assessment process.
- Not all students will qualify for EAP-3106 in place of the required IELTS or TOEFL test scores.
Submission of GRE scores is compulsory for this program, however, it is recommended to submit a minimum 292 score for a better chance of admission.
