Master of Innovation and Entrepreneurship [M.I.E]
- The program is available in a one-year or two-year format.
- The Master of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MIE) is the only program of its kind in the UC System, and provides extensively integrated and immersive academic and practical experience for those looking to embark on careers as entrepreneurs (innovating to form new companies) and intrapreneurs (innovating within existing companies).
- The program provides knowledge on core topics on the process of innovation and entrepreneurship, including identifying new venture opportunities through lean startup methodology, developing a business model, preparing a business plan, assembling a team, raising the necessary financing including venture capital, and launching a new business.
- It is also rich in experiential learning opportunities within the UCI entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Academic Eligibility:
- Students must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a related subject from a recognized university.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required on a 4.0 scale to be eligible for the program.
Indian Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
