Master of Education [M.Ed] Special Education
Future or current special or general educators, family members of students with disabilities, or community agency staff who wish to learn advanced Special Education theory, knowledge, and best practices enroll in the Masters in Special Education (without certification) program option. Elective coursework that address specific interests enables students to select graduate courses within the College of Education and across the Oklahoma University campuses. Most students work full time and take one or two courses each semester. All the Special Education courses are offered in the late afternoon and evening during the week. A limited number of courses are offered during the summer semester.

- Students must have a baccalaureate degree or equivalent from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Students must achieve an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher in the degree program.
