Bachelor of Science [B.S] Energy Engineering

This broad field of engineering deals with energy efficiency, energy services, facility management, environmental compliance and alternative energy technologies. Energy engineers creatively apply their knowledge of science (physics and chemistry), engineering (electrical and mechanical) and economics to confront the global challenges of energy supply and demand.

Through this unique five-year undergraduate program, students can earn two degrees: a degree in engineering from Purdue University along with a degree from Butler University in one or more of the following disciplines: sciences; mathematics; economics; or science, technology, and society (STS). Application for the EDDP is through Butler University, as well as student enrollment and residence for the duration of the program.
