- An undergraduate degree in Economics provides a broad education in the liberal arts, focusing on the social sciences, with a specialization in economic theory and application. Students can select the Bachelor of Arts in Economics, which includes more liberal arts courses, the Bachelor of Science in Economics, which provides in-depth training in analytical methods, or the B.S. in Economics: Business Economics concentration, which combines additional mathematics and statistics training in the context of economics and business. Students develop analytical, critical thinking, and communications skills they can use in any field.
