- The BS in User Experience Design (UxD) degree is an interdisciplinary, hands-on program that integrates creative and technical disciplines such as graphic design, human-computer interaction, and information technology.
- Students in the UxD program prepare to work in the expanding fields of user-experience design, interaction design, and social computing by developing their skills as designers, coders, and user researchers.
- The User Experience Design program offers two concentrations: a design concentration and a development concentration.
- The User Experience Design program combines technical and artistic areas of study to prepare students for a career in interactive web design and development.
- Students will learn how to analyze, design, develop and evaluate effective computer interfaces to provide better user experiences.
- As a UX Design major, students will learn how to analyze and evaluate existing computer interfaces as well as how to improve the design and development of interfaces for a better user experience.
- A major in UX Design will teach students to combine design’s technical methods with artistic principles, preparing students for a career in interactive web development.
