Bachelor of Science [B.S] User Experience Design

  • The BS in User Experience Design (UxD) degree is an interdisciplinary, hands-on program that integrates creative and technical disciplines such as graphic design, human-computer interaction, and information technology.
  • Students in the UxD program prepare to work in the expanding fields of user-experience design, interaction design, and social computing by developing their skills as designers, coders, and user researchers.
  • The User Experience Design program offers two concentrations: a design concentration and a development concentration.
  • The User Experience Design program combines technical and artistic areas of study to prepare students for a career in interactive web design and development.
  • Students will learn how to analyze, design, develop and evaluate effective computer interfaces to provide better user experiences.
  • As a UX Design major, students will learn how to analyze and evaluate existing computer interfaces as well as how to improve the design and development of interfaces for a better user experience.
  • A major in UX Design will teach students to combine design’s technical methods with artistic principles, preparing students for a career in interactive web development.

Academic Eligibility: 

  • Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission.
  • Students are required to maintain at least a 2.0 overall GPA.

Language Requirments:

  • Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores. 
  • Students are required to submit an SAT or ACT score to be considered for admission. 

International students who currently or will hold a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, do not need to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score report.
