Master of Science [M.S] Mechanical Engineering
The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers graduate programs leading to the degrees of Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (MSME) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in mechanical engineering. The graduate programs are designed to provide considerable flexibility in the selection of course work and specialization. Independent research, a requirement for the Ph.D. degree, is optional for the MSME degree. MSME students may choose a research-based thesis track or a coursework-based non-thesis track.
