The Master of Science in Biotechnology program at Northwestern University is a duration of 15-months. Northwestern’s Master of Biotechnology Program (MBP) prepares scientists and engineers for fulfilling and dynamic careers in biotechnology and associated professions. Academic Eligibility: 

  • Students must have a bachelor's degree in a related field received from an institution.
  • Students are expected to have a strong background in organic chemistry or biochemistry or physical chemistry, Biology (e.g., cellular or molecular), or Calculus before entering the program.
  • Students required to maintain at least a 3.5 overall GPA.

Language Requirments:

  • Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores. 
  • Students do not require to submit GRE exam scores.

International students who currently or will hold a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, do not need to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score report.
