Bachelor of Science [B.S] Chemistry
- With certification by the American Chemical Society, this program provides a unique opportunity to integrate classroom theory with laboratory experience. Students will be carried far beyond textbook learning to get hands-on experience with modern laboratory instrumentation. This program provides a strong foundation for students who wish to go into the fields of medicine, industry, pharmacy, environmental sciences, or education.
- This major prepares students for graduate school, medical school, or employment in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry and is approved by the American Chemical Society.
- It includes required CHE courses, and a group of required Math and Science courses. Students interested in Forensic Science are urged to view the requirements of that major's BS program.
