Bachelor Adolescence Education
Candidates who declare their intention to seek teaching certification in their academic major are assigned an education advisor as well as a major-field faculty advisor. During freshman and sophomore years, candidates meet with both advisors to design their program of study to ensure a timely completion of requirements.? The following are minimum criteria:
- A major field grade-point expected by the content department with no grade lower than a C
- A minimum grade point average of 2.7
- Grades of C+ or higher in all required courses in the Certification Sequence
- Request that one faculty member from your major department complete an?Evaluation of Dispositions by Faculty?form for you.? A link for this form will be available.
- Interview by members of the Adolescence Education Council as deemed necessary
