Diploma Protection, Security and Investigation - Customs Border Services
- The curriculum is taught by former police officers with extensive investigative experience.
- Students will gain practical, in-field experience via volunteer opportunities with local service agencies.
- They will have hands-on experiential learning via the Justice Studies Simulation Lab.
- Students who successfully complete the first year and the First Aid course are eligible to write the Ontario Security Guard licensing exam.
- As a graduate of the Protection, Security, and Investigation (Customs Border Services) program, students will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a good eye for detail, the ability to correctly apply various legislative instruments while targeting and investigating potential illegal activity at Canada’s Ports of Entry, in Canada and outside the country.

Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent degree including the following required course(s):
- English – any Grade 12 (C) or (U), or equivalent.
- Students with the knowledge of Photography, audio/video production, drama, multimedia, art, creative writing, mathematics are eligible to apply.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
