In fact, since the present and future well-being of the metropolitan Cleveland area is intricately linked with continued industrial growth, educated professionals such as engineers and technologists are in great demand.
Computer Engineering
Computer Engineers use their knowledge of both hardware and software for the design and development of the faster, smaller, and more powerful computer systems of tomorrow. Computers are embedded in everything that can be programmed, such as consumer products, and industrial, commercial, medical, and military products.
Fenn College’s curriculum in Computer Engineering prepares students for successful careers in the following areas: Computer design, hardware and software design, telecommunications, manufacturing, robotics and more.
In addition to mathematics and science courses, computer engineering students take courses such as digital systems, modern digital design, computer networks, computer organization, high performance architectures, operating systems and more. Technical writing and senior design projects are also offered.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Computer Engineering is one of the top ten degrees in demand according to the 2007 National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Job Outlook Survey. Software engineering is predicted to grow by 36 percent, while projected growth in all engineering fields is 3-9 percent through 2012. Engineering ranks among the highest paid professional fields.

Academic Requirements:
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 in previous education
- Official trasncripts of high school or secondary school
