Bachelor of Arts [B.A] History
Educated in History, Political Science, Anthropology, or Public History, a person is trained to see the big picture, gather facts, and make a reasonable, articulate argument.
Degree programs offered by the College of Liberal Arts and its departments share a common core of courses. Students in these programs must complete the Basic Curriculum, and the major curriculum.
Students in the Department of History and Social Sciences develop the skill sets necessary to see the big picture, focus on a specific point, and make a clear, rational argument. These are skills that are valued by all employers. Graduates from the Department have gone on to grad school, law school, and seminary as well as high school teaching. Our students work in Education, publishing, the law, finance, and veterinary medicine. What can you do with a History Degree? Anything you want to.
