The certificate in Native Studies aims to either to gain students' basic knowledge of Aboriginal societies and cultures, or provide training and development for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people who want to work in Aboriginal communities. It includes basic training in Amerindian history and anthropology, Inuit anthropology, and contemporary Aboriginal issues, and offers courses on aboriginal topics from home and abroad.
