Diploma Computing Studies and Information systems

  • The Diploma in Computing Studies and Information systems at Douglas College is offered as 2 years or 4-term teaching program.

Academic Eligibility:

  • Students must complete BC secondary school graduation (or the equivalent in another school system).
  • Students have one course short of BC secondary school graduation.
  • Students complete 19 years old by the end of the first month of the first semester of attendance.
  • Students have to complete the pre-calculus 11 (C or Better) or Foundations of Math 11 (C or better) or Principles of Math 11 (C or better) 

Language Requirements:

  • The students must be able to understand and fluently speak the language of instruction (English) in the program. Proof of linguistic proficiency may be required.
  • The students whose official language is not English must submit the English Language Proficiency scores like IELTS or TOEFL.
  • If the student does not meet the language requirements they can take English Language Learning and Acquisition (ELLA) program and complete it and pursue this program.
