The Rosenstiel School strives to be in the forefront of basic and applied research as it applies to the ocean, atmosphere and global environment, with particular emphasis on subjects of societal significance. The main goal is to provide excellence in education and research training, and to be a strong force towards improved environmental understanding and management.
