Bachelor of Science [B.S] Biochemistry
- Synthesis of compounds, determination of structures, reaction kinetics and mechanisms, and properties of materials - Chemistry has many facets. The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry excel in analytical, inorganic, organic, physical and theoretical chemistry. A program in Biochemistry, which explores the chemistry of biological processes, is also offered and draws upon faculty expertise in molecular biology, genetics, pharmacology, and clinical biochemistry.
- Chemistry and Biochemistry undergraduates have the option of participating in the co-operative (work/study) program alternating four-month periods at the University with salaried practical experience. Students in the Honours program conduct a supervised research project in their final year.
