The Department of Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences offers an MA with three tracks: speech-language pathology, audiology, and speech-language-hearing sciences; however, the department only accepts MA applications for the speech-language pathology track. The speech-language pathology track focuses on meeting standards for certification as a speech-language pathologist by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. It emphasizes outcome-based learning activities that prepare graduates to interpret research findings and incorporate them into clinical practice.
