Students receive a firm foundation blending creative experiences with a critical knowledge of art past and present. Students selecting the studio arts program study under a faculty composed of professional working artists with numerous works of art on exhibit nationwide. The studio art major offers training in four disciplines--painting, ceramics, sculpture and printmaking. Students may adapt the major to help prepare them for an alternative teaching certification.
