Master of Engineering [M.Eng] Engineering and Public Policy
- Public policy is created through decisions made by governments, industries, and communities; they determine the lives. Students will develop capabilities to create policy proposals that benefit from their technical knowledge and provide a sound basis for decision making.
- Full-time students are expected to complete the program in 16 months. The actual duration of studies may be shorter (not less than 12 months) or longer (not more than 24 months), for students who work faster or slower.
- Students will have opportunities to be involved in on-the-ground policy initiatives with community and industry partners and develop the research, analytical, and communication skills the policy profession demands.

Academic Eligibility:
- Students must hold an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or STEM discipline with at least a B- average (equivalent to a McMaster 7.0/12 GPA) in their final 10 courses.
- The related fields include a UG degree in sustainability, technology, science, and engineering.
- Students must have a minimum B grade (70-72%) to enroll in this program.
