Academic Eligibility:

  • Applicants for the graduate programs must have an earned baccalaureate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related area and must have completed such formal training as to warrant advanced study in the major and minor fields.
  • The applicant must be in good standing at the institution last attended.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required on a 4.0 scale to be eligible for the program.

Indian Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

  • Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
  • Additional coursework may be required as prerequisites upon faculty review and communicated with the student prior to official admission to the graduate program
  • Admission may be offered to non-mechanical engineering BS degree holders on a case-by-case basis

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
