Master of Arts [M.A] Theatre Arts
The School of Theatre and Dance produces two seasons of plays annually. They have a mostly faculty-directed four play Mainstage Season, a five-show Lab season that uses students and faculty to direct and design, and a summer performance lab in which students develop plays and devise works.
Completion of the Master of Arts program requires the student to complete 36 semester hours of course work. This includes 9 hours of MA Core Courses, 15 hours of Electives as approved by the Chair of the student's Thesis Committee and/or the Graduate Advisor, and 6 hours of Thesis (THA 6000).
