As a student in the journalism degree program at Messiah University, they’ll develop the creative and critical thinking skills in high demand by many of today's employers. Students are also strongly urged to choose a minor to help apply growing journalistic skills to a particular area of expertise, such as environmental science, economics, politics, religion, urban studies and more.

Academic Eligibility:

  • Students must submit their academic records. 
    • Students' transcript records must include results/marks for individual courses, as well as diplomas or certificates required in their country as evidence of qualification for university. 
  • If a student's native language is not English, they are required to submit scores of either TOEFL or IELTS to English language proficiency. 
  • Students are required to submit their SAT/ ACT scores.
