- From new media to traditional media, including online media, television, radio and newspaper/magazine, Messiah University’s Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in journalism reflects the fast-paced changes occurring in the journalism field today. As a student in the journalism degree program at Messiah University, they’ll develop the creative and critical thinking skills in high demand by many of today's employers. Students are also strongly urged to choose a minor to help apply growing journalistic skills to a particular area of expertise, such as environmental science, economics, politics, religion, urban studies and more.
