  • The Master of Science in Environmental Management and Sustainability Program (EMS) is designed to provide students who have backgrounds in engineering and other STEM fields with real-world skills, training, and knowledge that will prepare them to address those challenges.
  • With an applied approach and a curriculum that integrates business, science, and law, the program emphasizes how to use technological innovation and entrepreneurial activity to develop effective environmental management and sustainability systems.
  • Courses examine the interaction between economic growth and the environment, including how to apply environmental-economic models, the implications of environmental externalities, and pollution prevention and control strategies and policies in the areas of solid waste, water and wastewater, and air pollution. Students gain experience with cutting-edge managerial and analytical tools and techniques.
