- Kennesaw State University's Physics degree is provided in four tracks.
- Physics General - This track of study is wide-ranging and math-intensive
- Physics Mechanical track – This track combines physics with 29 credit hours of courses in mechanical engineering.
- Physics Electrical track – This track combines physics with 25 credit hours of courses in electrical engineering.
- Physics Education (taught at our Bagwell College of Education) - The physics degree provides content knowledge; the education courses provide the foundations of teaching.
- The KSU physics bachelor's degree focuses on the nature and properties of energy and matter, covering topics like mechanics, heat, light, radiation, sound, electricity, magnetism, and more.

Academic Eligibility:
- Graduation from high school with a GPA of 2.5 with qualifying test scores-or graduation from high school with a GPA of 2.6 without test scores(If educated outside of the United States, the required official evaluation must indicate GPA)
- Official transcripts of ALL student's high school or post-secondary records. English evaluations of all foreign documents will be needed. Students must have their foreign transcripts evaluated by one of the following credential evaluation services found at naces.org.
- Students High School transcript will need to have a document-by-document evaluation including GPA.
- Students College/University transcript will need to have a course-by-course evaluation.
- Results from your Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or American College Test (ACT).
- International students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
