YouStart GJSP Ghana Govt Jobs And Skill Program For Ghanaian Youths
You Start is an initiative of the government of Ghana, meant to encourage entrepreneurship in the country. Through YouStart the government will provide funding and technical support to youth and youth-led businesses that fall within this category to assist them to start, build and grow their businesses. Under Component 2.1 of the Ghana Jobs and Skills Project, which is financed by the World Bank, GEA will carry out Entrepreneurship Training and Grant Support (GUSP). Supporting skill development and job creation in Ghana is the project's main goal.
The youth entrepreneurship and Start-up awards are anticipated to result in the creation of jobs, the sustainability of those jobs, business innovation, and growth for firms owned by young people in the nation, reducing social vices mostly brought on by youth unemployment.
