Based on the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and in line with His Highness’s efforts to support talented male and female writers in the UAE and throughout the greater Arab world, the Department of Culture in the Government of Sharjah is pleased to announce the twenty-fifth session For the Sharjah Prize for Arab Creativity - First Edition, which concerns manuscripts prepared for the first edition of the writer or writer, and have not been previously published in a book.

Application Steps

and other Arab countries, and Arab writers, according to the following conditions:
1) The participant must be at least 18 years old and not more than 40 years old.
2) Posts should be in Standard Arabic.
3) The submitted material must not have won a similar competition, or submitted to obtain a university degree, and has not previously been published in newspapers and periodicals, or on websites, and has not been submitted at the same time to another competition.
4) The presented material should be the author's first work in this field.
5) No contestant may participate in more than one of the contest's axes.
6) The material presented should take into account religious and moral values.
7) The department is not obligated to return the texts, whether they won or not.
8) In the event of a violation of the terms and conditions of the award, the award will be withdrawn immediately, and the necessary legal measures will be taken.
9) Acceptance of entries closes on October 31, 2021 AD.
10) The results are announced in January 2022, and prizes are distributed during the creativity workshop in April 2022.
11) The winners of the top three places in each field are invited to attend the award ceremonies and participate in a scientific creative workshop.
12) The Department of Culture in Sharjah is responsible for printing all the winning works in the award centers, and reserves for itself the rights of the first edition of these works.
13) Any act in violation of the terms and incomplete attachments shall be excluded from the arbitration proceedings.
14) Those who won the competition may not participate again until three years have passed.
15) The winners in any of the axes are not entitled to add any modification to the winning text after announcing the
