The Rhodes Scholarship supports exceptional young people for postgraduate study at the University of Oxford, and actively fosters lifelong learning and fellowship.

Application Steps

You must be a citizen or resident of one of the following Rhodes Africa constituencies: Kenya, Southern Africa (including South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Namibia, and Swaziland), West Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Age: You must be at least 18 years old and not older than 24 years old on October 1st of the year you apply. Education: Before coming to Oxford, Rhodes Scholars must have earned a Bachelor's degree of sufficient quality to meet both the Rhodes and the Oxford standards.
