The Polygon Bootcamp Africa is an eight-week intensive educational course and hackathon combo that puts developers in Africa on the Web3 map. The initiative was launched in partnership with Xend Finance! The Bootcamp is Polygonâs biggest step in providing resources to developers, builders, and creators in Africa, and it comes during an important time. he top three Beginner projects will compete for $5,000, $3,000, and $2,000 in rewards, respectively, while the top three Mastery projects will battle for $10,000, $7,000, and $5,000 in bounties. To ensure extra funding and mentoring, the best Mastery applications will also be directed to Polygon's Accelerator program.

Application Requirements

n Polygon Bootcamp Africa, there are two parallel tracks:

Beginner track: for Web2 developers wishing to switch to Web3, as well as newcomers to Web3. This is the beginning of a new career, a new web, and a greater ability to profit from the value you produce. Participants will get comprehensive knowledge of decentralized computing, writing smart contracts, blockchain mechanics, and the steps involved in launching an app.

Mastery track: for seasoned Web3 developers who have won a few awards. You might be a full-time Web3 developer or you might have made the new web your career focus. The ins and outs of Polygon's scaling solutions will be taught to participants.

Dollar Range: The top three Beginner projects will compete for $5,000, $3,000, and $2,000 in rewards, respectively, while the top three Mastery projects will battle for $10,000, $7,000, and $5,000 in bounties. Along with "swag" for EVERY participant, the 10 additional runner-up Beginner projects and the 30 additional runner-up Mastery projects will each win $500 and $750, respectively.
