Dollar Range: The program offers five-month fellowships for scholars to carry out original research for publication as well as five-month fellowships for practitioners to develop methods and tactics for fostering democracy abroad. While staying in residence, fellows analyze best practices and lessons learned, engage with peers, conduct research, write, and create professional ties within a global network of democracy advocates. Fellows are required to finish a written product that is related to the research project they have in mind. The fellowship concludes with a formal presentation, where fellows often discuss their study topic or another issue pertaining to the state of democracy in their nation.
