Meta Research PhD Fellowship Program Worldwide 2022

The Meta Research Ph.D. Fellowship is an international initiative created to promote and encourage bright doctoral candidates conducting cutting-edge, pertinent research in fields of computer science and engineering at recognized academic institutions.
Students in any year of their Ph.D. studies are eligible for the program. Applicants from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, particularly those who belong to historically underrepresented minority groups are also welcome to apply. The Fellowship includes two years of free education and fees, a $42,000 stipend each year to cover living expenses, several opportunities to interact with Meta researchers, and an invitation to the annual Fellowship Summit.

Application Requirements

You are eligible to apply if you are enrolled in a Ph.D. program at an accredited university in the fall following the application cycle (i.e., Fall 2023)Engaged in research related to computer science and engineering in areas relevant to Meta, as specified in the Available Fellowships section
The program is open to students at all accredited universities around the world.

CV or resume.
Research statement. Statements of research should be 500 words or less and should clearly identify your area of focus, its importance to the field, and its applicability to Meta as it pertains to one of the Available Fellowships.
Two letters of recommendation. One from a Ph.D. advisor or a research advisor. The other may come from another professor or industry contact.
