Mastercard Scholars Program at the University of Cambridge

The University of Cambridge and the Mastercard Foundation jointly established the Mastercard Foundation Programme in 2022. From 2023 to 2030, the initiative aims to enroll over 500 Scholars from Africa in various Master's courses. The fully funded Scholarship programme targets bright students from under-represented African communities, offering them opportunities for academic and leadership development. Scholars are encouraged to contribute to climate resilience and sustainable futures in Africa. The program's core mission is to create a transformative network of young leaders driving sustainable change in Africa.
