Killam Predoctoral Scholarships are awarded by Dalhousie University based on a competitive basis. If you are an outstanding international student, you may want to check this scholarship as it is offered to high-performing graduate students in thesis-based programs (Master's or Doctoral level) in any discipline in the sciences, engineering, humanities, and social sciences. The scholarship awards up to $25,000 per year for up to two years together with tuition fees and a relocation fee if applicable. Dalhousie University has a diverse community of international students from around the globe.

Application Steps

Awards are open to both Canadian and international students. The applicants must be eligible to receive scholarship support for at least two years, only master’s students who have yet to begin their program may apply. You must also apply for funding from relevant provincial, national, and/or international agencies, such as NSERC, SSHRC, CIHR, NSHRF, etc.
