Google Research Scholar Program for Early-career Professors
Early-career professors who are conducting research in areas of interest to Google are encouraged to apply for the Research Scholar Program which focuses on sponsoring top-tier research carried out by junior faculty members and offers unlimited grants to assist research at institutions all around the world. Funds of up to $60,000 are available.

Application Requirements
The applicant must be a full-time assistant, associate, or full professor at a college or other research institution that awards degrees. Post-doctoral employees can only act as co-PI, not as the main investigator. The applicant's Ph.D. must have been conferred within seven years of the application (e.g. applicant in 2022 must have received a Ph.D. in 2015 or later). If a candidate has been teaching for seven years or less but has had delays due to employment in industry, parental leave, leave of absence, etc., they may make an exemption. This exception request may be noted in the application's documentation. Per round, each applicant may submit one application. Faculty can only participate in one round as a PI or Co-PI. Candidates are ineligible to serve on two different proposals. Three applications can be submitted at most during the seven year post Ph.D
