Gbowee Peace Foundation Africa (GPFA) was established in 2012 by Liberian peace activist, trained social worker, and Nobel Peace Laureate: Leymah Gbowee. The organization gives women and young people opportunities in three crucial areas so that Liberia's future generations would be peaceful, at peace with one another, and empowered. GPFA offers a scholarship award of £30,000 for Tuition and living expenses for selected candidates to pursue their undergraduate education in selected institutions.

Application Requirements

Scholarships and Financial Aid are awarded based on academic performance (3.5 GPA or 85%). Applicants must hold an offer letter for a full-time undergraduate program. Applicant must be admitted to their university of choice. Applicant must have a WAEC/WASSCE Certificate. Applicant must not receive any other scholarship or financial award. Incomplete documentation will be considered inelligible.
