EcoBank Fintech Challenge for Programmers and Developers in Africa
The Ecobank Fintech Challenge identifies African Fintechs who are ready to scale up. It also partners with them and gives them access to possibilities throughout Ecobank's 33 African markets. The aim of the challenge is to support their development as possible Pan African Fintech success stories. All African Fintech companies are eligible to participate in the challenge. Fintechs who are interested in applying can do so by sending a demo and information about their product. The Ecobank Fintech Challenge Grand Finale is attended by the chosen finalists. A $50,000 cash prize is awarded to the grand prize winner.

Application Requirements
All African startups and technology innovators are eligible to apply for the EcoBank Fintech Challenge. Applicants are to choose from different areas of interest as listed on the website and build a demo to serve as a prototype applicants without a demo will be disqualified. The Challenge is open to both teams and individuals. Teams can submit solutions for more than one challenge but are limited to only one entry per challenge. Individuals are not allowed to participate in multiple teams. Switching teams after applying is not allowed. Ecobank will cover travel and accommodation costs for up to two participants from each team.
