British Institute in Eastern Africa (BIEA) Postdoctoral writing grants for Researchers in East Africa
The British Institute exists to promote research in all the disciplines in the humanities and social sciences within the wider region of eastern Africa. BIEA is offering writing grants for a number of academics in eastern Africa who have successfully finished Ph.D. work in the humanities and social sciences within the last two years. Based on the findings of the Ph.D. study, a writing grant offers a small payment for the preparation and submission of a high-impact article to Azania: Archaeological Research in Africa or the Journal of Eastern African Studies and a blog for the BIEA website.
